The Viofo A229 1CH Pro 4K Wifi GPS is the latest model in the popular and reliable A229 series. In doing so, Viofo has updated both the design and the specifications. At the front of the car, the Viofo A229 Pro 1CH 4K keeps a razor-sharp eye on everything. With the built-in 5.0MP Sony Starvis sensor 2, the A229 delivers razor-sharp images. Furthermore, the A229 is equipped with 5GHz Wifi module, so you can easily and quickly review the recordings or transfer them to your smartphone or tablet.

The Viofo A229 Pro 1CH 4K Wifi GPS is equipped with dual-band Wifi (5 GHz) making file transfer very fast and the network very reliable. Through the Viofo App, images can be directly viewed and downloaded via the Wifi on any iOS and Android phone and tablet.

The Viofo A229 Pro 1CH 4K Wifi GPS films with 4K image quality. The super-fast Novatek 96660 chip combined with the two SONY sensors ensure that all details are clearly visible, even in the dark.

The Viofo A229 Plus 4K Wifi is equipped with automatic parking mode with motion detection or Time Lapse. With motion detection, the camera is on standby and begins a 30-second recording when motion is detected. With Time Lapse, the camera continuously records a 1fps video that can later be played back (sped up) as 30fps video. In this way, evidence is always available if the car has been damaged while parked.
Note: The automatic parking mode only works if the dashcam is used with the Continuous power supply for the Viofo A229 (optional accessory). When connected, the camera will automatically switch to parking mode when the car ignition is turned off and switch to normal recording when the car is started.

The included CPL filter ensures optimal protection and image quality under sunny conditions. The CPL filter acts for the dashcam like Polaroid sunglasses for the eyes. Harmful UV radiation is filtered out and annoying reflections are eliminated. This improves the image quality and durability of the camera.

The Viofo A229 Pro 1CH 4K Wifi GPS comes standard with a GPS module. Through the GPS, the current speed can be displayed in the image. This can be decisive as evidence in an incident. Moreover, through the GPS the location of the places where filming was done with the dashcam is remembered. Via the software on the PC, the covered route can therefore be viewed.

This Viofo A229 Pro 1CH 4K Wifi GPS dashcam has a 2.4 inch HD LCD screen. The screen displays live images and allows easy menu control. If desired, the built-in screensaver automatically turns off the LCD screen after a set number of minutes so it does not interfere with the driver.

With its 140˚ wideview 'fish eye' lens, the Viofo A229 Pro 1CH 4K Wifi GPS has a long range and is recorded at the front of the car.

Due to the 1.6 aperture at the front, combined with a 7G lens, a lot of light is captured, making the quality of the images very good both during the day and in the dark.

The HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology enables the camera to generate sharp images at very high and very low light intensities. As a result, the camera records razor-sharp images both in daylight and at night in low light conditions.

The Viofo A229 Pro 1CH 4K Wifi GPS is equipped with WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) hardware. This allows the dashcam to automatically adjust the light intensity depending on the environment. The WDR thereby guarantees the best image quality under varying conditions.

The Viofo A229 Pro 1CH 4K Wifi GPS dashcam automatically starts filming when the car is started. So you no longer have to look at it when it is hanging in the car. The condition is that it is connected to the power supply in the car.

With its built-in G-sensor, the Viofo A229 Pro 1CH 4K Wifi GPS dashcam notices when you've been in an accident. Upon impact, images are automatically stored securely so they are not lost. They can no longer be overwritten or deleted through the dashcam.

The Viofo A229 Pro 1CH 4K Wifi GPS equipped with a super capacitor battery. This battery ensures that the camera can properly shut itself down after the power is lost. Super capacitor batteries are specifically designed for use in dashcams because they are more durable than regular Polymer Li-ion batteries and are also more resistant to high and low temperatures.

The built-in microphone in this dashcam also records sound in and around the car. The microphone can be turned off if desired.
